Extremely talented individual with a ground covering stride that looks like he'll get better with age. If he handles the transition from two to three he's going to be one tough costumer this winter. His third in the Juvenile is not discouraging he simply did not have enough time to make up ground as he was really far back in the Juvenile. Should also be noted for mile and a sixteenth races at Keeneland they have to use the short stretch at Keeneland.

Last Win: 2015 Breeders Futurity

He hasn't put in a bad race yet. He's super talented and bred to run all day. He's a half to Point of Entry who was a superb long distance turf horse a couple years ago. He is only going to get better with age, and this is one to keep an eye on especially if he makes it to Belmont.

Very impressed with everything this colt has done so far. He's bred to run all day and will improve with age. He's a half brother to Breeders Cup Juvenile winner New Years Day, and his mother was a multiple graded stakes winner. He is bred to be special, and special he has certainly become.

Last Win: Remsen Stakes
Last Race: Remsen Stakes
Last Race Finish: 1st

His Delta Jackpot win was better than looked he showed he has the ability to win from anywhere on the racetrack which makes him very dangerous. He's a very workman like horse and just grinds out wins. With his breeding he's going to get better as he gets older which is a scary thought because he is already a really nice racehorse.

Last Race: Delta Jackpot
Last Race Finish: 1st

This colt it out of a mare that always seems to throw runners the list of talents shes produced is pretty remarkable. It includes Keyed Entry, Justin Phillip, and Algorithms it's know surprise that this colt can run. Only worry is if he can stay healthy, and if he wants to run the Derby distance. Regardless this is a very nice colt that's going to improve next out.

Last Win: 2015 Champagne Stakes
Last Race: 2015 Breeders Cup Juvenile
Last Race Finish: 7th

6. Cocked And Loaded

This is one colt who is going to get better as the distances get longer. He showed that with an emphatic win in the Iroquois in his first try at two turns. With Colonel John on top, and Malibu Moon on bottom he's going to relish a mile a quarter. Can't wait to see whats in store for this very talented colt.

Last Win: 2015 Iroquois Stakes
Last Race: 2015 Breeders Cup Juvenile
Last Race Finish: 5th

Ode To The Place That Made Me

Some people say that your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love and hold most dear, well to me my home has always been at Canterbury Park. I yearned for those summers every single day of my young life I literally had a countdown started on my phone from the moment the meet closed for the winter. It was the one thing that kept me going through those long tough winters in school, It helped me discover so many things about myself and taught me so many life lessons. It was the place that really shaped who I became. My first experience at Canterbury Park actually happened before I could walk or even form memories, My Mom and Dad knew someone who worked at Canterbury and through that connection, we were able to get a photo in the winners circle. I was just a young child in the photo and I didn't even look at the camera, but it was just the beginning of my long future with Canterbury Park. Fittingly the horse that won the race we got the photo for ...

Triple Crown Reactions

I got into horse racing way back in 2004 thanks to a plucky little chestnut horse named Smarty Jones who swept through the Kentucky Derby and Preakness with devastating ease I thought for sure even with my limited horse racing knowledge at that time that he would be racings 12th Triple Crown winner. My hopes were dashed as another plucky little colt named Birdstone swept on by him and dashed all my hopes in that final heartbreaking furlong.  The Triple Crown is part of what fueled my love for this sport at such a young age, and after Smarty Jones I spent most of my life thinking I would never have the privilege to witness a Triple Crown winner. So when American Pharoah came along I relished every hoofbeat, every race-call, and every heart stopping moment along the trail. I probably have watched his Belmont over a hundred times, and I could probably recite it word for word by now. I remember exactly where I was when he crossed that wire first I was hot walking a horse named Castlede...

The Beverly D was also her first start on US soil and showed she definitely likes firm going and she will get firm going at Santa Anita which will definitely enhance her chances.  Laughing(IRE): four starts and four wins this year for Laughing, she has racked up a very impressive roster of wins. She took down the grade three Eatont...
