Well thanks to a dominating performance by Cairo Prince in the Holy Bull this colt will remain to top my Derby Six. I am highly anticipating his debut whether it's in the Fountain Of Youth or somewhere else. This colt has the heart and the pedigree to get a mile and a quarter and when they come to challenge him he has the grit to fight back. He to me is still the most imposing horse on the Kentucky Derby trail he will have all the other horses shaking in their boots when he finally runs. I expect big things from this one.

Why you might be asking did this one shoot up the list? Well the simple fact is he was majorly impressive in his allowance victory on the Holy Bull undercard. He will continue to learn and get better as he gets older. With Curlin on top and A.P Indy on bottom this horse could run for days and believe it or not I liked his acceleration a lot more than Cairo Prince's. This colt seems to have a good head on his shoulders and makes an imposing impression wherever he goes. Shug is already planning on shipping this one and I will let you in on one thing this one will makes waves wherever he ends up.

Ladies and Gentleman we have another Verrazano on our hands a horse who looks brilliant but you have to strongly question his ability to get a mile quarter. With a sprinting mare on bottom and a stallion who also was suspect at a mile quarter on top. This colt may be brilliant at distances between one mile and a mile and an eigth. I know he won impressively but if you look closely his stride shortens about mid stretch after he takes the lead. He has done that in every single one of his races, it is one of the main reason Honor Code was able to come back and win the Remesen against him. He needs to answer the distance questions before I put him any higher, and I'm telling you now if there was future wagering for the Breeders Cup I'd play this one in the Dirt Mile without a second thought.

I'm very worried about this one as this one has missed two scheduled works now and on the Kentucky Derby trail you cannot have any hiccups without them seriously effecting your chances. That being said one he comes back he better be firing on all cylinders and ready to roll he better put on a show or else he will drop off. He is the your 2013 Champion 2 year old male but that doesnt bode well in the Kentucky Derby as the last two year old champ to win the Kentucky Derby was Street Sense in 2007. I still feel he is the best of the west though from what I've seen so far from the California contingent but that being said there are always surprises on the Kentucky Derby trail.

This one impressed in his win in the Kentucky Jockey Club though he seems a little green he will get better with racing experience. He has the pedigree to get a mile and a quarter and he has the trainer to get him to the Kentucky Derby this one will get better with racing experience. Breaking your maiden in a stakes race is something you cannot ignore. He will probably take the Louisiana route to the Kentucky Derby and I expect him to do well there. He will need to get everything figured out but that comes with racing experience he obviously is talented or he wouldn't have been entered in the Kentucky Jockey Club as a maiden.

This one caught my eye after his closing rush in the Nashua but he affirmed my beliefs in him after a hard fought win in the Jerome Stakes the other day. He has shown he is an incredibly versatile colt and with his pedigree this one will run all day. Malibu Moon might have a second derby winner in a row with this colt leading the helm.

What a Sight to Behold

Photo Courtesy of Horse Racing Nation Beholder has developed into one of the greatest mares of modern times with earnings of $4.4 million dollars, and 15 wins in her remarkable career including 9 grade one stakes victories and 2 Breeders Cup wins. Even more remarkable then her stellar race record is a list of horses she has beaten, and not just beaten, but thoroughly embarrassed most of the time. The list includes millionaires multiple grade one winners, and horses that were undefeated. Here is the amazing list of horses Beholder has conquered there are plenty others, but these are the ones that really stand out. Royal Delta- 2 time Breeders Cup Distaff winner also won the Gr.1 Alabama earned $4.8 million in her remarkable career. Romans Owner: Albaugh Family Stable Career Record: Starts: 4 Firsts: 2 Seconds: 0 Thirds: 1 Earnings: $523,138 Derby Points: 14  Extremely talented individual with a ground covering stride that looks like he'll get better with age. If he handles the transition from two to three he's going to be one tough costumer this winter. His third in the Juvenile is not discouraging he simply did not have enough time to make up ground as he was really far back in the Juvenile. Has yet to work since his last effort, but that's not too concerning expect him to make a return in either the Fountain of Youth or Rebel Stakes.
